Karen Hogg is a multi-instrumentalist, educator, and writer living in southern Connecticut. She is author of Berklee Basic Ukulele and Berklee Solo Ukulele. Hogg has been teaching music since 1990, including at Berklee’s summer programs. She has also written two instructional books for guitar: Women in Rock and Guitar Made Easy (Alfred Publishing). Additionally, she is the author of numerous articles and lessons for publications such as Acoustic Guitar Magazine, Fretboard Journal, and She Shreds.
