Dick Odgren graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1975 and taught there from ’76 to ’81 and from ’86 to ’93.  He has been on the jazz faculties at Clark University, College of the Holy Cross, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Assumption College, and Worcester State University in addition to having an extensive private teaching practice in his own studio. He has performed and recorded with Mike Metheny, Pat Metheny, Rufus Reid, Bill Frisell, Alan Dawson, and Emil Haddad, along with many others, including his own trio.  He has also been the recipient of numerous awards for his performing and teaching.
