Jeff Perry is professor of Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music where he is also the associate director of the Aspire summer program. Jeff’s professional career has spanned over forty years with performances on trumpet and electric bass throughout New England in jazz and blues, in bands as a sideman and as a leader. He has taught at Berklee College of Music since 1997 and has released four CDs of original compositions as a leader with his most recent, Quartet, featuring jazz standards as well. His arrangements for big band, small group jazz, and pop/rock groups have been performed throughout the U.S. He is currently residing in Swampscott, MA.
