Maureen Droney is the managing director of the Producer and Engineer with of the GRAMMYs. She has worked in the music recording industry since the 1980s, and was the recording and/or mix engineer for such artists as Carlos Santana, John Hiatt, Kenny G., George Benson, Aretha Franklin, and Tower of Power. She was the Los Angeles editor for Mix magazine and a frequent contributor to numerous performing arts publications.
