Richard Davis is an educator, composer, orchestrator, record producer, performing musician, and author. His film credits include orchestrations and transcriptions for Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, The Last Boy Scout, and The Fall Guy; original music for Monsters, Walking at the Edge, and others. His musical experience spans multiple genres, including jazz, classical, pop, folk, and Indian ragas.

Richard studied guitar with Barry Galbraith, jazz composition and arranging with Dick Grove, and classical composition with Daniel Kessner and Aurelio de la Vega. He recently retired after twenty-seven years as a professor of film scoring at Berklee College of Music.
